Lucy; um

This version of Nick seems to indulge in creepiness rather more than expected o.o

cut for sizeCollapse )

But nothing will beat the Social Bunny's level of creepy. I don't even want to post those caps. *shudder*

Lucy; starting anew!

Making the Mountainlake versions of our favorite Lunatics..

Ultra!French!Nick invites you in.

(lol couldn't help myself in trying that out.)

for srs nowCollapse )

Making the resort/house will take much longer x_x
Whoa I actually had time to play Sims again! (Well this state of affairs probably won't last but might as well enjoy it while it does, right?)

Day ...I don't know, it's been awhile since Zen got fixed, hasn't it?Collapse )

Extracted from Zach diary:

...the bathroom's faucet broke again and it took both Nick and me to fix it. The upstairs bathroom was completely flooded, of course, and took a while to clean up. Luckily we got to it in time so nothing seemed to have seeped through the floor or escaped to the hallway....
...I think Nick is regretting asking Alice to move-in, but still refused to give up on any romantic gestured that might not have been as grand once the two people in question are already living together (there is very little that is romantic about who's turn it is to take out the trash). Certainly I can find no other explanation for why he is out there right now, after dark, serenading our house from out by the mailbox.

Or maybe he just forgot to eat while he was at his job again and the blood sugar got to him. I better go and make sure he eats something.

Perhaps all hell will break loose

So in the conversion of stuff that have happened when Zen is getting fixed, I came to the inevitable conclusion that I've lost the previous sims. Therefore this weekend, in between the truly insane amount of baking and cleaning (baking = second year hosting party for first year next Friday, I'm contributing cookies and a pie) (cleaning = me being me) I made up a new set of the guys, who are perhaps slightly less well-made than the first set, but the point is that I am 90% sure I gave them the exact same character traits, so it should be okay. I also have no patience to build a house from the ground up, so I copied in a three bedroom (I see that Mod The Sims have Sims3 downloads up already, so that's something else I can waste time on, some day) and moved the guys in. Also, I didn't add any relationships so everyone's at square one. It should be interesting. My cookies are almost done, and I have to start making dinner for next week, so I'm just going to turn the sims loose and I'll let you know what happens at the end of two hours.

(Anticipation. And dread cum amusement.)

Mountainlake, Day 2-3

I've a bunch of sketches and screenshots on Zen right now. Unfortunately the wireless card is still not working over there....

Brief recap of what they did when left on their own:

Alice
-painted, a lot. Her creation looks vaguely like a pink gingerbread house.
-made dinner for everyone.
-stayed up waaay too late playing games on the computer.
-stood staring at Nick as if in a trance while Nick picked up a guitar and tried to play it.
-decided that, after a brief conversation, that Nick is okay. (I lol'ed.)

Mike
-went out. On a bike. (It looked funny. I took a screencap.)
-decided that the town people are idiots and went back home.
-wanted to "read something extreme". At least this time he did get a book from the adventures section and didn't end up reading about commitment issues.
-talked with Nick about music. His opinion of Nick gradually improved from thinking Nick is boring to thinking that Nick is amusing. (Though the game didn't elaborate on what sense of amusement, but knowing Mike, I think we can extrapolate.)
-went to sleep voluntarily at 10pm and stole Zach's bed.
-stared at the guitar-playing-Nick for a while, but eventually decided that going to the bathroom was more important.
-voluntarily ate breakfast.
-decided he wanted to play chess.

Nick
-went for a brief drive in the more utilitarian of the two cars. Appeared to enjoy his ride very much.
-initiated conversation with Mike. Thinks Mike is okay.
-went to bed at about the same time as Mike.
-went to the right bed.
-was the first one up in the morning and decided that the first thing to do in a fresh new dawn is to go into Zach's room and get something to read. While Mike is snoring away in the same room.
-saw the guitar in his own room, went "Oh look, a guitar!" and started plucking away. Attracted much attention from everyone except Zach, who was job-hunting.
-likes Alice and thinks that she is being flirty.
-when Alice departed to bathe, spent considerable time considering the environment (no, the game literally says that he's contemplating the environment) until I told him to get dressed.

Zach
-went for a swim. (I thought "wth." I still think that.)
-was the last one awake in the household (oh the irony) as he stayed up very late with a book.
-was the only one to clean up after dinner without being told.
-fed everyone waffles for breakfast (*g*)
-found a job in the med field.

[edit]
Nick & Alice's relationship has progressed to where Alice thinks Nick is "being alluring" and Nick thinks Alice is "irresistible". In other words: necking ensued.
I picked a lot next to the mountains on purpose. There is no lake involved. Mike refines his sarcasm.

Mountainlake, Day1Collapse )

Current OC count at Evergone:
Male: 4
Female: 5

I am a poster

At around 2pm today I was tired and decided I needed a break. Of course I couldn't just stay still as originally intended and decided to launch Sims3. The face options are more realistic in this, which also means that Mike doesn't get his pointy-ears. I'm naming the household Mountainlake. Partly so I can list Alice and Nick in "sponse" relationsip. I am sticking them all in one house.

Onward to screenshots!Collapse )

Then I looked at the clock, thought "!!!", and went off to finish reorganizing my closet and folding laundry.
(And procrastinating....)

I bring you: more macros!Collapse )

Yay tags.

Dorking.

I'm tired but it's too late to sleep, so I'm taking a break and making macros since, as Lucy reminded me, I haven't made any in a while.

More behind the cutCollapse )

Sims 3 is still due out in June, which is exciting. Judging by the to-do list I just made, however, I won't get around to anything until July, possibly August.

And now I'm going to over-tag this, because I realized that when I was looking for the screencaps how useful tags can be.
